About this blog: why brainflashes.com blog has been created and what you will find here.

Why Brainflashes.com?

The motivations behind the creation of Brainflashes.com are explained in the About me section, but it’s worth to indicate something also here, to allow better understanding of the blog contents and general structure.

This blog expanded from the desire of the founder (let’s call him “BF”) of sharing with the world some of thoughts, without any specific commitment, not on a regular basis, but from time to time, as hobby and a way to express himself. The contents, so, should not be expected as strongly thematic but rather spontaneous, about events in the world that BF feels relevant for him and worth to write about at the moment of writing. These contents may be about many topics: geopolitics, life, finance, inner status, technology, science, …

Freedom of expression is the main motivation of this blog: a space on the web where to express considerations about the world in a totally free way, a place where expressing personal creativity and proposing individual point of view on the things that are interesting to BF. Hoping to be useful in some way, or at least interesting to some extent, to potential readers that, on purpose or simply by chance, will pass through this blog.

One important thing: the blog is written by not native English speaker, so please be patient with the style. It may be not so good, but hopefully the contents will be interesting and satisfactory for people wanting to read these “flashes from the brain”.

What is Brainflashes.com?

Brainflashes.com is a window on the world. Where is this window placed? In the mind of the author!

This is the reason for the blog’s name: “Brain Flashes”, meaning in some way that the articles that you will find here are flashes coming out, spontaneously and suddenly, from the brain of BF, the author.

When these flashes are emitted? Every time something, a topic or an event or a generic news, captures the interest of BF and stimulates the need of expressing personal considerations about that something. Of course, provided that BF will have the spare time to promptly write the article, considering his job (as clarified in the About me section) 😊

The contents of the blog may encompass everything, given the premise. Nevertheless, the blog is organized around three main categories, which can be seen as the three main thematic areas intended to be addressed in Brainflashes.com:

  • Life,
  • Finance,
  • Yourself.

The typical (but not fixed) structure of Brainflashes.com

I will extend this page when and if needed. Everything in Brainflashes.com is a living component, nothing is frozen: “πάντα ῥεῖ?”. It’s Greek: “panta rei”, everything flows, by the philosopher Heraclitus, indicating that nothing is stable, everything is continuously changing. We all are continuously changing, so also the page about BF may change over time.

The commitment: BF will never generate articles through AI

An important commitment that needs to be very clear is that this blog will never use Artificial Intelligence to generate contents. Such usage would be absurd, for many reasons: this blog aims to propose qualified contents, expressing personal opinions and replying to spontaneous need of writing BF points of view to share them with the readers. Therefore, no meaning and no room for automatically generated contents. Full stop.

My inspiration:

The idea of Brainflashes.com was inspired by a very nice guy (I don’t know him, but I regularly read his blog and I read his book): Sam Dogen, the “Financial Samurai”.

Here below the link to his blog and to his book. Both are worth a look, I’m sure you will find interesting things there. I found my inspiration to found a blog there 😊
